EditPad Classic
A link for everyone to download. My favorite text editor. EditPad Classic. It’s Postcardware (so it is OK for me to distribute it and if you like it send the creator a postcard) and I still need to send in my postcard.
It’s from an organization called JGSoft, which sells commercial non-postcardware text editors that branch from EditPad. Here is describing EditPad classic.
My recommendation is to get the free Editpad Lite and then copy over the \Program Files\JGsoft\EditPadLite\EditPad.exe with the exe linked to above. I make sure that I always change the background color to white and keep the font black.
