On Senator Craig
Let me start out by saying this: I honestly don’t think that Senator Craig is gay. Or that his intention in that bathroom was to have sex. It sounds like he got in a REALLY bad situation with a cop and there was a misunderstanding. Hey, it happens. Not a lot, but it does happen. People do stuff that they don’t even realize may be illegal or look illegal every day. It is mostly an issue of you getting caught.
Now, with this in mind, here is how the senator is an idiot: He pleaded guilty to the entire thing. Does he not realize that this stuff comes back to haunt you? He would have quite a few people behind him (hehe) during the entire thing and I think it would get thrown out rather quickly.
But no, he decided to plead guilty. Which not only means that he looks guilty, he admits that he is guilty.
Idiot.

You’ve got to be joking. You don’t think he was gay, or that he intended to have sex in there?
Why are there multiple men saying they’ve fucked the guy then - and this was BEFORE, years BEFORE, this story even happened. The media was circulating rumors about his gayness 26 years ago!
“According to the arrest report[34] Craig stated “that he has a wide stance when going to the bathroom and that his foot may have touched mine.” Craig also told the arresting officer that he reached down with his right hand to pick up a piece of paper that was on the floor. “It should be noted that there was not a piece of paper on the bathroom floor, nor did Craig pick up a piece of paper,” the arresting officer said in the report. The officer also noted that once he had shown the senator his police identification under the partition and indicated to him to exit the cubicle, Craig, after initially resisting the order, left the cubicle without flushing the toilet. At one point, Craig handed his business card, which identified him as a U.S. Senator, to the plainclothes sergeant who arrested him and said, “What do you think about that?”[33][35]”
Give me a break. If you don’t think he’s gay, or that he was trying to have gay sex, you’re very naive.
Personally I don’t care if he’s gay. The denial pisses me off. And his poor wife (and kids?).
That he lives his life serving a party that oppresses his orientation; that pisses me off. I couldn’t care less about what he’s doing with his penis. But he’s a phony, liar, and hypocrite. Good riddance.
